PRO-VENT:

How does PRO-VENT work?
The Pro-Vent cover is placed over the rough-in ductwork vent space. The holes in the cover allows for air flow and catches dust and debris from falling through into the ductwork.

What type of screws should I use?
We recommend installing the Pro-Vent into the rough-in ductwork with nails or pan-headed screws.  We do not recommend drywall screws as it may damage the vent cover. 

What size is the PRO-VENT cover?
The overall size is 6” x 14” x 3/8” thick (no other size is available). 

What size vent opening does the PRO-VENT fit?
The cover is designed to protect up to a 4” x 12” rough-in duct vent holes. Pro-Vent is not made for return air vents. 

Is PRO-VENT reusable or washable?
Absolutely! We do not recommend removing the foam filter, just gently rinse the filter and remove the debris.

The website states “Generic Stock Imprint”. What does that mean?
Generic Stock Imprint means the Pro-Vent covers are preprinted with “Your Builder Cares About Your Air” imprint on it. It cannot be customized. If you want a custom imprint, please choose the Custom Imprint option.

 


 

CODE BOX:

Is CODE BOX weatherproof?
Code Box is weatherproof, and it withstands strong winds, rain and snow.

Is the CODE BOX secure?
Absolutely! Code Box provides lockable storage space for building permits, inspection paperwork and construction documents.

What kind of a lock do I need?
Any standard padlocks will work.

How do I put the Building Permit paper in?
Simply slide it through permit sleeve, elastic bands. Make sure they are properly secured.

What kind of a post do I need?
We recommend using a heavy-duty T-Post. The Code Box only fits on the post in one direction. Test the orientation before you set the post in the ground. The backside will be the side of the T-Post that has notches. Slide the mounting brackets over the T-Post and using 7/16” nut driver to tighten the brackets to set the Code Box at your desired height.

Where can I store more documents?
Open the Permit Sleeve panel, there is an enclosure pocket to store more building paperwork and documents.
